We are very happy to welcome you to the 3rd Symposium International in Greece which this year will take place in the beautiful island of Crete 4 – 7 September 2026.
The Symposium is a glorious event connecting dance cultures worldwide presenting from each country the traditional and social dances . Symposium started in September 2024 as a pioneer event connecting Greece, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy and Cyprus! Music and dance participants are experiencing amazing organization full of dance events, parties, shows, dance parades and great vacation spot!

21.00 Departure from Pireaus port for Heraklion with the ASTERION boat
Dance party on board with DJ
FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 4 2026
06.00 Arrival in Heraklion
Pick up with the buses for the hotels
14.00 Check in at hotel Vasial Royal and Capsis Astoria Hotel
20.00 Pick up with the buses for the greek night dance party with live music at a traditional Cretan tavern. Full menu with wine
02.00 Pick up back to the hotels
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 5 2026
08.00 – 10.00 Breakfast at the hotels
09.00 – 17.00 10 hours of dance lessons with selected professors from Greece and abroad
20.00 Dance parade with all the dance groups in the center of Heraklion going towards the Grand Shows Night
21.00 Grand Shows Night in Kipotheater Nikos Kazantzakis in Heraklion
SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 6 2026
08.00 – 09.30 Breakfast at the hotels
10.00 Pick up with the buses for a day trip to Chania
12.00 Arrival in Chania
Dance party lunch in traditional Cretan restaurant
15.00 Free time for coffee in Chania and sight seeing
18.30 STREET OPEN DANCE PARTY for all in the main port of Chania with the participation of everybody in the island
21.30 Pick up with the buses for the return to the hotels in Heraklion

COSTS OF PARTICIPATION
1. GOLD PACKAGE

The cost includes
– Boat tickets from Pireuas – Crete – Pireaus
– Bus transfer to all the venues of the festival and pick up from the port at arrival and departure times
– 3 nights at 4**** hotels Vasial Royal and Capsis Astoria Hotel in Heraklion with breakfast at a double or triple room
– 2 full meals Friday night dinner at Heraklion and Sunday lunch at Chania
– 2 dance parties in Crete *one with live orchestra and one with DJ*
– 2 dance parties on the boat to Heraklion and to Pireaus
– 10 hours dance lessons with international instructors
– Participation in the Grand Shows Night
– Participation at the day trip to Chania with bus transfer
– Participation at the Street Open dance Party at the port of Chania

The cost includes:
All the above that are included in the Gold Package except the transportation with the boat . The participants flight directly to Heraklion and they are responsible for their transfer to and from the hotels from the airport.
Αll the other bus transfers to the venues of the festival are included.

CANCELLATIONS
In case of cancellation until August 10th 2026 the deposits can be transferred to a third person that has not already registered for the festival. In case that a third person is not found for a replacement the deposit can be held for a different event until September 2027. Money return is not possible.
Cancellation after August 10th 2026 needs to be paid in full. In case that a third person is not found for replacement money return is not possible and the deposit cannot be held for a different event.
